I’m excited to share with you the new COCO trailer and coloring pages. COCO looks even more stunning in this latest trailer. Our family is looking forward to seeing it November. And I’m thinking we should all bring tissues. You know how Disney Pixar likes to get you right in the feels!
In Disney Pixar’s COCO, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. But his family has a generations old ban on music. No music allowed. None. Despite that, Miguel continues to secretly play his music, when one night, he finds himself transported to the colorful Land of the Dead.
I love how the land of the dead is more lively than the land of the living!
Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history and to return Miguel to the land of the living. Which has to happen before sunrise, or Miguel will become one of the dead, forever.

The latest Aladdin production news is here and I am excited to share! The cast is all set and filming has begun! The crew at Longcross Studios and it looks like they are ready to bring us a whole new world.
Will Smith, the Genie, shared this selfie of himself, Mena Massed (Aladdin), Naomi Scott (Princess Jasmine), and Marwan Kenzari (Jafar).
Also joining the cast are Navid Negahban as the Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Princess Jasmine’s hand maiden and friend, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, a suitor from Skanland and potential husband for Jasmine, and Numan Acar as Hakim, Jafar’s right-hand man and head of the palace guards.
My observation: It might be a little harder to hate Jafar with Marwan playing him. He definitely does not seem snake-like! Just saying…
Are you excited for the live-action Aladdin? I know we are!
Disney has just debuted an empowering Dream Big Princess photo campaign, and I absolutely love it. This new campaign, follows along with the Dream Big, Princess messaging and products we have seen in the last few years. Disney collaborated with 19 female photographers from around the world to capture powerful images showcasing real-world women and girls inspired by the Princesses.
But they didn’t stop with just these amazing photos.
For every photo posted on social media with the hashtag, “#DreamBigPrincess,” or like of such a post, Disney will donate $1 to the UN Girl Up Foundation, up to $1 million!
“The idea that stories, whether real life or fictional like those of Belle or Rapunzel, can inspire kids to follow their dreams is at the heart of the #DreamBigPrincess campaign,” said Jimmy Pitaro, Chairman, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media. “We asked some of the most accomplished female photographers to help tell the stories of inspiring women and girls from around the world—and the results are incredible.”
Stories play a powerful role in inspiring kids to follow their dreams, and these images spotlight positive real world stories in a visual way to encourage kids to reach for their goals. They range from a young entrepreneur who created a STEM book about girls coding, to a girls soccer team that loves to compete in their Princess dresses, to the first female elephant keepers in Kenya, to a Paralympic fencing champion in Japan, and more.
“Every picture tells a story, and I’m delighted to be part of an initiative that tells so many stories that are interesting and diverse. I hope that people around the world will be motivated to share their own inspiring #DreamBigPrincess images in support of Girl Up.” – Annie Griffiths, one of National Geographic’s first female staff photographers.
